The cool thing about Hotel Ballast Wilmington Tapestry Collection by Hilton is its prime location in the heart of Wilmington, within walking distance to Cape Fear Community College, Wilmington Convention Center, and the Riverwalk.
Just walking in the front doors is a pleasure. It smells wonderful. The staff is well trained in hospitality and make you feel valued as a patron there. The beds are so comfy and our favorite server is THE best (thank you Alicia).
Great experience. Very attractive furnishings and we enjoyed the extra little sitting room near the lobby. Very nice to have young men at front to load luggage onto carts. They were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice, comfortable bed and pillows. Shower was nice and roomy. The location and view of the riverfront was very nice. We completely enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely stay there again. Thank you!

The property is a great location but the rooms need serious updates and the hallways. Our air conditioner was either too cold or not working! Not OK! The best thing about our room was the view! Great!

Great Experience
Beautiful view on boardwalk. Staff friendly and professional. Had breakfast every morning and enjoyed it very much. Drinks at poolside. Will definitely stay again.
Easy access to downtown by foot.
Coffee bar in the lobby not open during convenient hours. No refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. The water pressure in the room was very low. The bathroom sink was was an attempt to be high end but lacked water pressure a mere trickle.
Nice stay. Two free bottles of water every day left for us. Big towels for shower. Super comfy bed and pillows.
