Shell Island Resort offers stunning oceanfront suites with private balconies or patios, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking views of the beach.
Although Shell Island has some age, it is very nicely updated. It actually has two separate toilets in the suite, so if sharing with your partner is an issue, this is the place for you! The view in the living area is really nice and the sofa is facing the ocean, for another plus. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast we had there was very good. Additionally the view of the water from the restaurant is another plus. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

The staff at SIR is outstanding. The front desk workers helped us with a couple issues. The restaurant staff provided us with several meals. The work and effort that each staff member puts into helping your visitors is A+.
This was our first time at Shell Island Resort. The staff was friendly and efficient, our accommodations clean and the views amazing. Had a great breakfast in the SIR Restaurant and our grands loved the indoor pool. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

If it wasn’t for the location, you would be better served to stay at a Knights Inn and save yourself some money. I have stayed at Shell Island for close to 15 years and until the past five years, it was a great place. In the past few years, however, the quality has diminished and the price has risen. It’s just the way of the business world these days, but regardless I prefer better quality when I’m on vacation.
We have stayed at Shell Island Resort before and plan to come here again in the future. We really liked the room we were staying in (Room 401), particularly because of the view on two sides. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
No facial tissues, decaf coffee, dish towel ! After 20 yrs rethinking staying @ Shell Island Resort again??.
